Denisse is the Principal Architect and Owner of System D Architecture, a woman- and minority-owned firm based in Austin, Texas. With nearly 20 years of experience in complex architectural projects, she has helped shape landmark developments ranging from high-rise towers and mixed-use districts to luxury communities and custom residences, building a portfolio that includes work with notable firms such as Nelsen Partners, STG, and world-class developer Discovery Land Company.

Known for her resourcefulness, passion for problem solving, and ability to deeply understand client needs, Denisse approaches every project with the goal of creating spaces that bring joy through bespoke solutions and thoughtful design. Her leadership blends creative vision, a diverse perspective, and a commitment to excellence from concept through completion.

Beyond her practice, Denisse has served as President of the Austin Foundation for Architecture, a founding board member of NOMA Central Texas, and a City of Austin Board of Adjustment Commissioner. She is a registered architect in Arizona, Colorado, and Texas, fluent in Spanish, French, and Italian, and holds dual citizenship in Mexico and the U.S. Her work reflects a belief that great design is not just beautiful—it is thoughtful, human-centered, and with purpose.
